How it began

A handful of families who missed home.

Kairali Samajam began as a handful of Malayali families in Hosur who missed the smell of rain on red earth and the sound of Onam songs. What started as informal get-togethers has grown into a community that meets, celebrates, and looks out for one another all year round.

Today, generations gather here — from elders who remember the old songs to children learning their first Malayalam words — through festivals, classes, and everyday friendship. We are one of the largest Malayali community associations in Hosur, and we're still growing.

"Wherever a Malayali family stands together, that ground becomes Kerala."
